In the Storm with Jesus
In this life, challenges, adversaries, trials and temptations are bound to happen. A normal life has its own share of hurricanes and thunderstorms, and enough bouts of calm situations to sooth the heart. The presence of storms in life does not denote Jesus in absentia. Mark 4:37 "But soon a fierce storm came up. High waves were breaking into the boat, and it began to fill with water" When the fierce storm came, their fishing boat was tossed and swapped by the waters. They shook with fear, but JESUS was still on board. The scriptures does not tell whether they woke Jesus immediately. Or they tried to ride on through the storm. But at the right time, which was beyond the human strength, Jesus woke up and calmed the fierce storm. Just because Jesus is on board, it does not mean we will not face the storms of life.
