As I commence on blogging on this site I dedicate both my blog and my writing in the hands of God. I pray God Almighty, my only source of strength and sure inspiration to send out his light and truth. Without his light shining on my path, I can stumble along the way. His truth is the only sure way of relying reliable and valuable information. 

I need God's direction in my life and writing. I need his light in the darkness and his truth in decision making. I do not want to be tossed about by my ideas, I do not want to be compressed by my feeling and situations. I need God's guidance. I need God's illumination and revelation as I read, meditate and expound on his word which is the bread of life. With the guidance of his light and truth, I believe I will remain relevance, reliable with desirable and worthwhile content for my readers.

Whenever I want to maneuver new dimensions in life, Psalm 43 gives me the ultimate goal of life with practical, well guided steps for achieving this goal. When his light and truth guide me, I will not be held back by doctrinal statements and beliefs; but the word of God which is true and constant will ground my faith in him. 

I Want to Know the Heart of God, Learn His Ways and Do What Pleases Him

It is only God who knows the future because he exists outside the timeline of history. When he guides, he knows how best. When he directs, he knows the best steps to take. When he guides, he cannot lead astray because he loves us and he has purposed to have a good relationship with us - if only we accept his ways.

 

That’s why I look forward for his guidance and directives in my writing. I dedicate this blog unto him.

Bible Forgiveness #2

  The Blessings of Forgiveness Psalms 32:1 “ Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.” Have you been hurt by the actions or words of others? Are you obeying God’s command to forgive? Is there anyone you feel you cannot forgive? When someone you trust hurts you, you can hold on to bitterness and grudges –or you can adopt forgiveness and move forward. Holding on to the pain of being offended can drain you emotionally, physically and/or spiritually. The scars can leave lasting feelings of bitterness, anger and even hatred. By embracing forgiveness. You embrace peace and hope. Forgiveness is a command from God. Colossians 3:13 “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you ” (NIV). And like his other commands, you have a free will to embrace it or disobey. In the Storm with Jesus

     In this life, challenges, adversaries, trials and temptations are bound to happen. A normal life has its own share of hurricanes and thunderstorms, and enough bouts of calm situations to sooth the heart. The presence of storms in life does not denote Jesus in absentia. Mark 4:37 "But soon a fierce storm came up. High waves were breaking into the boat, and it began to fill with water" When the fierce storm came, their fishing boat was tossed and swapped by the waters. They shook with fear,  but JESUS was still on board. The scriptures does not tell whether they woke Jesus immediately. Or they tried to ride on through the storm. But at the right time, which was beyond the human strength, Jesus woke up and calmed the fierce storm.   Just because Jesus is on board, it does not mean we will not face the storms of life.    Sometimes when we are faced with fierce storms, we try to bail ourselves out.
